The Sherenades Dancing Troupe are now recruiting new members particularly from the Lostock Area.
Members are aged from 5 years to 16 years and come from various communities within the local areas, they practise at Shawe Hall Community Centre, Church Rd, Flixton on Wednesday evenings from 5.30pm (including all school holidays).
The girls learn new routines and new tableaux’s during the winter months and then compete throughout the North West against other
dancing troupes during the spring/summer months every Sunday. The dancing bus picks up on Sunday mornings (during the season) under the motorway bridge on Winchester Road.
If you enjoy dancing and making new friends and travelling to different towns then this could be the hobby for you.
Further information can be obtained from Mrs P Hamby on 0161 747 5728 or just go along any Wednesday evening where you will receive a warm welcome from all the girls.
